- Symptoms and why removal is needed (pain, hearing loss, cannot visualize TM, etc.)
- Laterality
- Method (irrigation vs instrumentation) and patient tolerance
- Post-procedure exam (e.g., TM visualized, canal status) and complications
- Aftercare (dry ear precautions if needed)
